Friend Street Hostel services the much-needed budget travel market in downtown Boston by offering safe, clean and centrally located accommodations with budget minded amenities. It also offers a lot of fun!
Located at 234 Friend Street, the Hostel offers its guests quick access to Boston’s North End, The Freedom Trail, Cambridge and other Boston hot spots. With hundreds of hostels in the U.S. and over 32,000 worldwide, Friend Street Hostel hopes to bring Bean Town up to speed with the rest of the states. It proves you can still enjoy a vacation or visit our wonderful city while on a budget.
Locally owned and operated, Friend Street Hostel offers a different kind of budget travel experience to say the least. It all started 15 years ago when two guys, Matt Caskey and Thomas Harrison, backpacked throughout Europe and it was complete magic after that! In addition to running the hostel which opened April 2011, they still run Euro-Trips twice a year! These two travel experts hope to offer their “Euro-education” to all their visitors.
Friend Street Hostel offers guests private or semi private rooms, including light breakfast, free wifi, access to tourist information, laundry services, and a 24/7 front desk. Guests can make use of our kitchen, or relax in our common room playing games, darts, cards, and watching TV.
Guests and walk-in visitors should feel free to stop by any time to get information on the hostel, what to do around Boston, or our next Euro-trip.
Stationed in a traditional 3-story Bostonian building, Friend Street Hostel offers a real feel of Boston: exposed brick, high wood beamed ceilings and a friendly, down-to-earth atmosphere.
Travelers are sure to make new friends at the Friend Street Hostel!
