It proves you can still enjoy a vacation or visit our wonderful city while on a budget.
Locally owned and operated, Friend Street Hostel offers a different kind of budget travel experience to say the least. It all started 15 years ago when Matt Caskey and friends backpacked throughout Europe. For several years after he lead group trips to Europe to show how much could be seen on a bugdet. In addition to running the hostel, which opened April 2011, the newest addition to the hostel building has been a travelers cafe called Friend Street Cafe. Guests can have a great cup of coffee and meet other travelers or locals, all while surfing the internet! His hopes are to offer a place where travelers from all over the globe can come and see this amazing city while having a safe, fun and hip place to stay!
Friend Street Hostel offers guests shared accommodations, including light breakfast, free wifi, access to tourist information, laundry services, and a 24/7 front desk. Guests can make use of our kitchen, or relax in our common room playing games, darts, cards, and watching TV.
Guests and walk-in visitors should feel free to stop by any time to get information on the hostel, what to do around Boston, or our next Euro-trip.
Stationed in a traditional 3-story Bostonian building, Friend Street Hostel offers a real feel of Boston: exposed brick, high wood beamed ceilings and a friendly, down-to-earth atmosphere.
Travelers are sure to make new friends at the Friend Street Hostel!
